Casino Night Hosted by Hispanic Firefighters’ Association

Tuesday, February 20, 2018 posted by admin

Dear Friends and Supporter:

The Hispanic Firefighters’ Association of Newark will be hosting the 2018 “Casino Night” celebration.  Our organization is a non-profit 501(C) (3) dedicated and committed to the enhancement of Latino youth in the City of Newark. We annually conduct several fundraisers to support the numerous youth teams that this organization sponsors, such as the Hispanic Firefighters’ Association, Roberto Clemente Baseball Team, Just One Soccer League, North Newark Little Team, Ironbound Little League, and the Ironbound Girls Soccer Team just to name a few.

Traditionally the Hispanic Firefighters’ Association professionals are dedicated members that support and collaborate with organizations, such as The Center for Hispanic Policy, Research, and Development, United Way of Essex County and West Hudson, The Hispanic Research Center, The Hispanic Law Enforcement Society of Essex County, and the Newark Fire Union providing leadership skills and mentoring our Latino youth. Annually we encourage and provide opportunities for our Latino youth to achieve a Higher Education.  We award college scholarships at our Annual Hispanic Firefighters’ Association Banquet.

The 2018 Hispanic Firefighters’ Association fundraiser will begin with our “Casino Night” on April 20th, 2018, commencing at 7:30 pm – 12:30 am at The Robert Treat Hotel, 50 Park Place, Newark, NJ 07102.  Our guest will be provided with $250 worth of chips to begin an evening of fun and laughter.  Tables will include Texas Hold’em, Blackjack, Craps, and Roulette.  At the end of the evening, chips will be exchanged for raffle prizes. There will be an Open bar, and hot and cold buffet will be served.  So please join us in the fun celebration.  Tickets are available for the sum $85.00Remember your contribution is Tax deductible # ID 22-3495468.

All proceeds from this wonderful and fun evening will support our yearly youth activities that I mentioned earlier.  So come join us.  Please feel free to contact Co-chairpersons: Brothers Javier Cruz (973)223-1445, Louis Maisonave Jr. (973) 489-7046, or Ray Montalvo (201) 306-9967.  For tickets or further details, you may also Sponsor one of our tables for a fee of $250.00  which will also include one free ticket.  Your name or company will be recognized throughout the evening.
